Sultana (2026) is a compelling Turkish drama and musical film set inside Istanbul’s most famous nightclub. The story explores women, ambition, rivalry, solidarity, and the struggle for power behind the glamorous world of the club.
The film follows Meral, the longtime star and reigning queen of the Sultana nightclub. When she takes Anna, a talented young dancer from Belarus, under her wing, Meral initially sees her as someone she can guide and protect.
However, Anna quickly begins attracting attention and rising through the club’s ranks. Meral soon realizes that the young dancer could become a serious rival capable of taking her place. What begins as a relationship based on mentorship and solidarity gradually develops into a dangerous battle fueled by jealousy, ambition, betrayal, and competition.
